A Chapter First!

We are proud and honored to align ourselves with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys For Tots Loudoun branch to help out during the 2017 Holiday Season.  There are 2 ways our Members and their families helped out in 2017:

Our Chapter named the Holy Apostles Greek Orthodox Church as an official Toys For Tots Drop Site and it was a great success.  Thank you to so many who dropped off a new unwrapped toy for a needy child! 

Over 30 Members, their families, and friends of AHEPA volunteered on December 16, 2017 at the Toys For Tots Ashburn Warehouse.  They boxed thousands of toys for needy children of all ages.  Because of the enormous support and enthusiasm by everyone there, we hope to make this a Chapter Community Service event every year.  

This is a great cause that's been around for many years and in 2016, collected and distributed 18 million toys to 7 million less fortunate children in this past year allowing them to experience the joy of Christmas and receive a message of hope that otherwise would not have been there. This community action program took place in 792 communities covering all 50 States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.
